Gail S. Meyrowitz, M.A. CCC, founder and owner of GSM Speech Pathology, PC is a  New York state licensed, ASHA certified and  ACE recognized practicing Speech Language Pathologist.  Over 30 years of clinical experience in a variety of medical and educational settings and continued education allows her to combine evidenced based treatment with informal functional therapy with success being measured by clients becoming the best version of them selves. She collaborates with families, physicians and other therapists to provide a wholistic approach to treatment.  Working with an Otolaryngology practice, where she performs FEES and Videostroboscopy, allows her to assess and treat voice and swallowing disorders as well as educate on the management of Laryngopharyngeal Reflux and Chronic Cough through behavioral and dietary changes. Additionally, Gail works with adolescents and adults as a Communication Coach focusing on on improving pragmatic and speech skills for more effective communication. She is  certified in LSVT LOUD and is able to offer this therapy to individuals with Parkinson's Disease as well as incorporate parts of the LSVT protocol into treatment of aging and other conditions including stroke and multiple sclerosis.  Group treatment is offered in addition to individual treatment where clients can practice newly acquired skills in a more naturalistic setting.  Group sessions offer support and a safe environment to share feelings regarding their problems as well as their successes with their improved communication skills
